This Week's Menu


We're right around the corner from Little Italy and it’s time we indulged. This menu is Dirt Candy’s take on a classic Italian American red sauce joint, only it’s celebrating Spring by indulging in big flavors, big dishes, and big fun, so think of it as Dirt Candy’s Green Sauce Menu!

FIRST COURSE
Antipasto Salad
dive into April with this super green salad of celery, green olives, marinated yuba, grilled zucchini, romaine lettuce, and pepperoncini tossed in a creamy vinaigrette

SECOND COURSE
Crispy Caulifower Scampi
Olive Garden’s fried shrimp scampi is about as all-American as you can get, but instead of tossing shrimp in butter and garlic, Dirt Candy tosses lightly fried orange cauliflower in tarragon, garlic, and Calabrian chilis to make a lighter, spicier, vegetable version

THIRD COURSE
Carrot Pepperoni Pizza
The big reason we're bringing this menu back is because everyone loves our carrot pizza. It's one of the best vegetable treats to come out of the Dirt Candy kitchen and it's the perfect pizza for Spring. The dough is made with carrot juice, it’s slathered in a tangy carrot marinara sauce, and topped with carrot pepperoni, mozzarella, and fresh basil…why put vegetables on your pizza when you can make an entire pizza out of vegetables?

FOURTH COURSE
Verde Spaghetti alla Vodka
If there's one dish you'll find on every single Little Italy menu, it's penne alla vodka. Our version is tweaked for Spring, hearty and filling but super green and refreshing, too! We make bright green spaghetti with kale juice, toss it in a green vodka sauce, and top it with pecorino romano. It’s pasta that feels like the whole world is waking up.

DESSERT
Asparagus Tiramisu
Sounds weird, tastes delicious. Layers of asparagus cake alternating with layers of asparagus lemon crème, it’s like a gentle cloud with a delicate asparagus flavor. Much more refreshing than a normal tiramisu, this is exactly what you’d get if someone asked what you wanted for dessert and you said, “Spring.”

And of course, there’s a beverage pairing! This time around it’s going to include a white negroni, prosecco, and more surprises.

This entire vegetable festino can be yours for only $55/person (tip included, but not tax) and the drink pairing is only $30.

Even better, our patio is the place to be now that the warm weather is here. Totally safe, socially distanced, regularly inspected, and it's got a roof so it's snug and dry even with April showers. You can make a reservation or just walk right up (although you'll probably need a reservation on the weekends).
