Everyone loves Paris in the Springtime, even if you’ve never been there, because it just sounds absolutely lovely. Now that spring is definitely on its way, Dirt Candy is embracing that mood with our Paris in Springtime dinner menu.
SPRINGTIME IN PARIS MENU
First Course
Baguette, Butter and Mushroom Mousse
A demi baguette from Partybus bake shop with a hefty round of French butter and our creamy, savory Portobello mousse.
Second Course
Rainbow Carrot Salad
Carrot socca, carrot crème fraiche, carrot greens and lemon dijon vinaigrette
Socca is a thin, crispy chickpea crêpe from the south of France. We've added a little bit of carrot juice and a schmear of carrot crème friache, then piled it high with a tangle of rainbow carrots to make it our most colorful salad yet.
Third Course
All the shades of Green Bouillabaisse
Asparagus, peas, smoked kale broth, spinach dumplings, and green garlic rouille
We've updated France's classic seafood stew with vegetables. It's a big bowl of spring, anchored by a rich, layered, smoked broth made of kale, studded with spinach dumplings, and topped with a tongue-tingling green garlic rouille, which is a classic sauce for bouillabaisse made with olive oil, breadcrumbs, garlic, saffron, and pounded cayenne peppers.
Fourth Course
Cheese Course
A small plate of French cheeses served with fruit and nuts before you have dessert.
Dessert
Spring Paris Brest
We aren’t sure what vegetable Rachel is going to layer her Paris Brest with, but we're just as excited to find out as you.
